The brief was a living space that functions fully as a family room by day and becomes a dedicated 4K Dolby Atmos cinema at night — without either mode feeling like a compromise.
We specified a Sony 65″ display for everyday viewing alongside a Sony 3D 4K laser projector paired with a 120″ Screen Research motorised ceiling-drop screen for cinema. KEF’s 7.1.4 speaker array, processed through Anthem and driven by Arcam amplification, delivers genuine Dolby Atmos immersion, with a Velodyne subwoofer handling the low frequencies. Qmotion battery blinds and Silent Gliss electric curtains black the room out precisely when needed.
